Lately why does everybody seem like they’re in a rush. They’re all in a rush and they have absolutely no place to go, at least any place that’s important. I see this every single goddamn day. I see it when I go to the Fail Road station in the morning. I see it when I change trains at Jamaica in the morning. I see it when I change to the subway to get to the office in the morning. And, I even see it in my building when waiting for the elevator to get to my office in the morning. And it’s not just in the mornings it’s in the afternoon as well

For their part,  the Fail Road and the subway have signs up on the trains and in the stations saying to please let the people leave the trains before you board. These things are worthless. People do not read them and if they do read them it just seems like they don’t give a crap about courtesy. One great example is in one of the stations along the 1 line. Tthere is a huge billboard on the wall behind the passengers waiting area that says be courteous to let people leave the train before boarding. and guess what people do? They all crowd in the middle of the door when the train is stopped and they push their way onto the train before the people in the train are done leaving the train. It drives me freaking crazy every time they do it because it doesn’t save time it wastes time. All it takes is for you to wait another 5 Seconds it won’t make a difference in your day.

I also see you this on the Fail Road every day specially in the mornings in the afternoons and especially in the afternoon it’s ridiculous in the afternoon. going to and from work I have to change at your make up because my train to and from work does not go directly to my destination I always take an earlier train at your make up because if I take the train that I need to be on to get the direct connection is always chaos and I refuse to be a part of that so I waited another 5 minutes by taking an earlier train. and what do I see everyday as I’m leaving the train in the morning and the afternoon that you make a Icee uncourteous people crowding in the doorway entrance just waiting to push their way onto the train. sometimes I say hey please move I’m leaving the train and they push even further in and they push me as well and it drives me crazy I don’t like it and sometimes I want to smack him around but I can’t do that because I have to be civil and courteous you know how that goes…

What I really want to know is what is  their rush?  Where the hell are all of these people going? They are already at the train station the train will not leave without them and they are already at the exit and entrance to the train so where are they going?

The problem as I see it is that most people are stupid and they have no manners. It doesn’t matter how many billboards are up, how many announcements are made how many inserts are put into the monthly ticket envelope. It does not matter because people are stupid that’s right I said people are stupid.
